The K2 AMP Aftershock targets the advanced to expert level resort skier who likes
exploring for fresh snow, and enjoys carving trenches on the front-side too. This is the
widest ski in K2’s all-mountain AMP line, so it thrives in soft and chopped up snow. The
Aftershock is 86mm at the waist and has all-terrain Rocker (30% early rise tip) which
provide the extra lift you need to rip through crud and turn ‘em quickly in the trees.
But it also has plenty of power, grip, and stability for hard snow performance too thanks
to its wood core with titanal laminates, combination of sidewall and cap construction,
MOD-Monic vibration dampening, and camber underfoot. K2 built the aftershock with
Hybritech Sidewall construction which combines the power, precision, and performance of
sidewalls underfoot, with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of
cap construction. The 2013 K2 Aftershock is a stable and versatile hard-charging ski that
can do it all.
We offer this ski without bindings because, after testing it both ways, we believe it skis
better and costs less without the integrated system binding offered by K2. We encourage
you to purchase your favorite binding separately, as that would provide a superior skiing
experience for less money.
NOTE: This ski does not include the bindings as pictured by K2.
