The Women's Down Sweater from Patagonia is the perfect complimentary piece for any winter expedition. Minimal weight, maximum warmth, and ultra- compressibility make it a winter time champ. Wear it as your outer jacket or as an added layer of warmth under a shell. A 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell houses powerful 800-fill-power premium European goose down to keep you in your element, even when you're out of it. Patagonia's Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish helps keep you dry in raging snowstorms. The quilted panels are sewn to a woman's contours and do a great job of keeping the down in its place for even warmth. A drawcord hem keeps your heat in and the cold out. Pocketry includes exterior zippered pockets to hold gloves and accessories, and a stretch-mesh interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuff sack. A carabiner clip-in loop lets you attach it to your bag when inside its pocket. You'll have no problems taking this piece anywhere. Fit Tip: The down sweater is great as an insulating midlayer or as a lightweight winter jacket. It's fitted, but there's room for a sweater underneath.

My daughter is very picky with the textures and comfort of her clothes. She loves this jacket! Perfect for everyday winter jacket. Not bulky at all. You can use it with layering as well.
