SkiCenter.com is now offering mounting services when you purchase both skis and bindings! With mounting from SkiCenter.com your new skis will only need a quick binding calibration before you take them out on the slopes. Sometimes when you purchase skis online it can be hard to find a local shop with the appropriate equipment to mount your specific ski/binding combination. This is especially true for fat skis and AT bindings as well as other “specialty” items. We have all the appropriate jigs for every binding and ski that we sell, and with over 50 years of mounting experience you can be sure that your bindings are being mounted with the utmost care by one of our knowledgeable service technicians. Before you select this service please see the information in the box to your right and make sure you have everything you need. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call us at 1-888-754-2368. Here at SkiCenter.com we understand the desire to get your new skis out and on snow ASAP, and we’re happy to get you one step closer to making those first turns!

Ski Mounting Service is only available for skis and bindings purchased from SkiCenter.com

Mounted ski bindings must be calibrated by a factory authorized professional before first use. Most ski resorts or local shops can do this quickly while you wait.
Required information:

Boot Sole Length

Please click on the link above for info on where to find your boot sole length. This information is required to mount bindings!

Mounting Position:

Mounting position, simply put, is how far forward or backward we place your binding on the ski. For system skis, and for most recreational skiers sticking to mostly groomed terrain, this information is not required. If however you spend most of your time in the park, or searching for the pow, this is an option you may want to consider.

Traditionally skis are mounted a little bit back from the true center of the ski. For skiers spending most of their time in the park, mounting at or close to the true center of the ski can help a lot with reducing swing weight, as well as making skiing switch a lot easier.

By moving the binding back from the traditional mounting point towards the rear of the ski you get the opposite effect. This will create a larger area of ski in front giving you better float in the powder.

If you have any questions about mounting position please feel free to call or email us and we can help you to decide which position fits your skiing style the best.
