This the largest bag that Transpack makes. It is the official choice of the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the National Ski Patrol. Constructed from extremely durable, water resistant coated 1680 ballistic nylon and heavy duty buckles, it will provide many years of service under the harshest conditions. Its ergonomic design makes it comfortable and easy to carry. Adjustable waist belt and sternum strap provide solid support and stability. Outer compartments hold one pair of ski or snowboard boots, and a large middle compartment is big enough for a helmet, gloves, goggles and anything else needed for a day at the slopes. The Transpack TRV Pro boot bag also has an internal mesh and fleece pocket for goggles, and a zippered pocket for keys, cash, and other personal items. Zippered side pockets can hold a magazine, folded newspaper, or more skiing accessories. Boot compartment grommets allow drainage of water. Shoulder straps and waist belt can be stowed away in a zippered pocket when checking during air travel. The Transpack TRV Pro boot bag is not recommended for airplane carry-on as it exceeds the maximum allowable dimensions when fully packed. This boot bag is roomier than the cheaper polyester coated fabric ones. The nylon fabric should perform better in airplane handling. I moved up to nylon because the cheaper polyester developed holes in the boot compartments. Also the inside coating was wearing out showing light through.

My sons both received an older/smaller version of this bag years ago. My kids (now in college) are die hard skiers and these bags are used all season and have made airline ski trips with them too. One is still in service and the other needed to be retired - my son selected this bag and LOVES it! He loves the new improvements, extra storage pockets, straps that can be removed for trips that we fly. I'm sure that he will get many, many seasons with this great bag. Would highly recommend for anyone considering a backpack style boot bag.

This is the 4th Transpack boot bag that I have purchased.
Self, daughters, and fiancée. The first TRV Pro had a stitching failure in one of the boot compartments after one season of use. I was a ski instructor at the time and also coached my daughters high school ski team, so the bag saw alot of use that season. Transpack replaced the bag later that summer and the new pag has performed flawlessly as has the other two. My fiancée is looking forward to many years with her new bag as well. The bag has great features is built extremely well and is very comfortable on your back. It feels good knowing that transpack stands behind their product. Highly recommended!

Excellent bag. I've carried it onto airplanes for flights to and within Europe without trouble, just don't go crazy overstuffing it. Transpack provides great customer service also; I lost the waist strap somehow and they were happy to replace it. Can't recommend it highly enough.

My brother has used this bag for 2 seasons, and my husband has now received his for Father's Day. Both men serve as Sherpas for our young skiers during the winter. Lugging both the adult's ski gear along with the kids gear to the mountain is no easy task -but with so much space in this bag it is made much easier for my brother. My husband who was previously envious - is now looking forward to an easier ski season 2011/2012!

This bag has been a great upgrade from the smaller, shoulder-strap boot bags that we have been using for years. Good quality, size and design. It is great to be able to put this on your back rather than over a shoulder when shlepping ski gear around! This makes a great gift too! (That's a hint to my wife.)

The bag is terrific and very well made and fits all my stuff. It came defective with the shoulder strap swivel disconnecting but Ski Center took care of the issue immediately and were very helpful. Kudos to the service guys. I'm told defects are rare.
